The Department of Radiology at Sundaram Medical Foundation has been providing comprehensive, round-the-clock diagnostic imaging services since 1994. Supported by a dedicated team of experienced radiologists and radiographers, the department plays a vital role in accurate diagnosis, image-guided interventions, and patient management across all specialties.

Milestones
    • 1994 – Conventional dark room manual X-ray, USG machine, Fluoroscopy 
    • 1996 – Introduction of C-arm 
    • 1999 – Automated X-ray processor and Single-slice CT 
    • 2004–2005 – Computed Radiography (CR) system with laser printer 
    • 2009 – 16-slice CT 
    • 2010 – GE Voluson Ultrasound machine 
    • 2018 – New updated X-ray machine with Digital Radiography cassette 
    • 2020 – MRI 1.5 Tesla GE machine 
    • 2022 – Launch of Diploma in Radiography course 
    • 2025 – Installation of new Mammography device
