It also provides medical training for para-medicals, such as Physiotherapy & Nutritional Support Service Internship, and also conducts conferences like Academy for Continuing Medical Education (ACME) and Focused Overviews Reviews & Updates in Medicine (FORUM).

The academy supports the CME and CPD programs and plans regular events for both neighbourhood practitioners and the hospital’s medical staff.

- MBBS with full registration
- Successful passing of the DNB Primary exam
- Allotment of the candidates is done by the National Board of Examinations
- The Critical Care program is a super-speciality programme that requires the candidate to have passed an MD/DNB. Candidates for this program are nominated by the National Boards
- Candidates who have completed a DA/DLO/DGO/DCH/D.ORTHO may be nominated by the National Boards for a 2-year program
- All positions are full-time residency training programs. Candidates are not permitted to carry on or accept any other duties outside the hospital during the training period. A stipend is provided
All programs provide a structured, active learning experience with adequate didactic sessions, journal clubs, conferences and other educational activities considered essential for 21st-century postgraduate medical training. A well-stocked library with an internet connection and access to various educational materials is available for the residents.

Sundaram Medical Foundation conducts a training program called The Advanced Skill. Each candidate will complete 30 months of structured training. We have a robust structured training program with active and adequate didactic sessions, research activity and broad clinical exposure.
