Together we
CAN make a
difference
Sundaram Medical Foundation · CAN-STOP Community Service Department — A year of healing, hope, and community care across Chennai.
A Vision Born from
Loss & Love
Sundaram Medical Foundation is deeply committed to extending quality healthcare beyond hospital walls. In 1998, following the passing of Dr. S. Rangarajan, CAN-STOP (Cancer Support Therapy to Overcome Pain) was founded as a tribute to his life and values.
Over the years, CAN-STOP has evolved into a community-based voluntary organisation dedicated to holistic support for cancer patients, survivors, and their families. We firmly believe that cancer care must extend beyond clinical treatment — emotional support, counselling, nutrition, awareness, dignity, and hope are equally vital.
As we reflect on the impact created this year, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has walked alongside us. Together, we reaffirm that compassion heals, community strengthens, and hope sustains.
"Compassion heals, community strengthens, and hope sustains — ensuring that no one faces cancer alone."
