Roles and Responsibilities

Selecting Medical staff under Department of Microbiology. -
Selecting the Nursing services including the Nursing Director and all personnel reporting to her / him. -
Interacting with other nursing institution with regard to the acceptance of trainees in various departments of the hospital.

Education, Training, Evaluation of Nursing Staff (in consultation with Dr. Manickavasagan – DMD – Academics) -
Annual performance evaluation of nursing staff. -
Identifying training needs for personnel reporting to you, organizing and ensuring that training is provided and is effective. -
Identification of training requirements for your own development. -
Monitoring nursing standards, investigating and rectifying lapses in Quality of nursing (in consultation with Quality assurance team. -
To be a whole time consultant apart from being the Deputy Medical Director with all clinical responsibilities and rights of the position. -
Execution of any other function assigned or delegated from time to time by the Trustee & Medical Director.
