  • Supervising CME programmes.
  • All activities relevant to the approval of education programmes in various disciplines.
  • Ensuring various education programmes are conducted properly.
  • Direct supervision of various research programmes.
  • Identification of training requirements for your own development.
  • With reference to the areas of responsibility listed below, you will be required to execute, supervise, recommend or delegate all necessary actions relating to them in accordance with the rules of the institution.
    • National Board of Examinations training in all disciplines approved.
    • Training for Membership of the College of Emergency Medicine (UK).
    • Conduct of the annual FORUM programme including the Dr S Rangarajan Memorial Oration.
    • All activities related to the Medical Library.
    • All activities related to the Lakshmi Medical Research Centre including the conduct of the Institutional Review Board.
    • All ongoing CME activities.
    • Evaluating and making recommendations for all offers requesting the support or role of the institution by other organisations approaching us for collaborative efforts in teaching and research.
  • Clinical
  • To be a whole time consultant with all clinical responsibilities and rights of the position apart from being the Deputy Medical Director.
  • Others
  • Execution of any other function assigned or delegated from time to time by the Managing Trustee / Trustee In-charge.
  • In addition to the above, you will be one of the Members in all the NABH Committees.
  • Administrative Authority
  • Assigning responsibility and authority for all personnel specified in the organization chart under you.
  • You have authority to sign all documents related to the above functions.
  • In your absence or unavailability, the authority for signing may be subsumed by the Trustee & Medical Director / Trustee & Director – Administration / Trustee in charge as deemed appropriate by the existing exigencies.
