Dr. Girija has travelled with Sundaram Medical Foundation since its inception in 1994. -
She is the Head of the Department of Medicine and allied Specialities and the department has grown considerably over the years, serving a large number of patients. -
As the Deputy Medical Director in charge of the Medical Specialities and care delivery, Dr. Girija is involved in the administration and management of the Medical departments, development and maintenance of clinical care standards in adherence to evidence based protocols, with the goal to enhance patient experience and outcome. -
Apart from her clinical responsibilities. Dr. Girija is deeply interested in teaching and mentoring postgraduates training in Medicine & Family Medicine. She is also an examiner for the MRCP examination, conducted biannually at SMF, by the Royal College of Physicians, U.K.
