All a’Bout Cancer 

• The 14th edition of the ABC “All a’Bout Cancer” Exhibition, organized by CANSTOP, was held on 3rd September 2025 at Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School, Chetpet. The annual inter-school programme continued its mission of promoting cancer awareness through interactive exhibits and educational activities.  
• Since its inception in 2001, the exhibition has reached more than 17,600 students, making this year another significant step toward strengthening cancer education among young learners. 
• Around 1,200 students from 75 schools across Chennai took part in the event. There were 36 information stalls and several competitions. The Painting Competition had 125 participants, and 31 groups performed skits. The Quiz had 51 teams, while the Tamil Oratorical and English Oratorical events had 52 and 50 participants. The Photography Competition included 37 participants. Overall, the event saw active and enthusiastic participation from students. 
• The valedictory ceremony featured cultural performances, an invocation song, special winning oratorical presentations, and a keynote address titled “The Most Fascinating Place You'll Ever Visit — Your Own Brain.” Awards were presented by Rotarians, with the 1st Prize awarded to Spartan Matriculation Higher Secondary School (₹30,000 + Rolling Trophy). Consolation prizes were also given to several participating schools. 
• The event received wide media coverage through newspapers, magazines, digital channels, and YouTube platforms, significantly amplifying its impact. CANSTOP extended its gratitude to all participating students, teachers, schools, Rotarians, Rotaractors, volunteers, sponsors, and partnering clubs.
