Dr. Arjun Rangarajan serves as the Director of Strategy and Planning at SMF.

Arjun is a physician and public health professional with a background in designing, delivering, and managing diverse care delivery, population health and public health programs, with expertise in strategy, operations, and implementation globally across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, and the USA.

After completing his MBBS at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, (Chennai, India), he pursued a master’s in public health from Emory University (Atlanta, USA). Over the past 18 years, his work includes public health research, and policy advocacy at organizations like the Centers for Disease Control, Harvard School of Public Health, and Doctors without Borders. Arjun led strategy and health policy engagement for Noora Health, collaborating with national ministries of health and multilateral organizations like the WHO. His healthcare management experience includes roles at Mass General Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston, USA), where he led strategic care redesign projects in managed care/value-based care, digital health, palliative care, quality improvement, and socio-demographic needs integration. Arjun is focused on bringing a public health lens to clinical care delivery and bridging gaps between them.
