Pongal Celebration

  • The Women’s Hospital in Egmore hosted CANSTOP’s official Pongal celebration on January 12, 2022. Dr Vijaya Bharathi Rangarajan, our founder, participated in the festivities, where earthen pots were decorated, and conventional kilns were set up to prepare the Sweet Pongal. The patients’ jubilant shouts of “Pongalo Pongal” reverberated throughout the room. The patients performed dances for everyone’s enjoyment and participated in rangoli and pot-breaking competitions.
