The Rheumatology department has been functioning at SMF since 2010. The key focus of this department is the early diagnosis of rheumatological diseases and contributing to patient wellbeing.

Facilities

  • Management of connective tissue diseases including Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Systemic Sclerosis, Vasculitis, and Gout
  • Use of biological injections in cases where DMARDs fail to achieve adequate response
  • Treatment with immunosuppressant drugs and other DMARDs
  • Treatment using Immunosuppressant drugs and DMARDs (disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs)
  • Management of Spondyloarthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis
